Shop FloatJoin our team as a Shop Float where you will primarily assist with the press brake. You will be responsible for setting up the press brake and will be trained to operate your own machine, including loading raw sheet metal and removing finished parts. You will also fill in at other positions as needed, such as part grinding, polishing, and material handling. Responsibilities Set up the press brake. Operate and manage your own machine, including loading raw sheet metal and unloading finished parts. Fill in at other positions as needed, including part grinding, polishing, and material handling. Perform part deburring and drill holes into fixtures. Load and unload machines independently. Essential Skills Experience in fabrication and press brake operation. Ability to read blueprints and work orders. Proficiency in using a tape measure and other measuring equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications 6 months experience operating fabrication machines such as brake press, laser, saw, or plasma. Strong understanding of metal fabrication techniques. Why Work Here? Enjoy a consistent shift schedule from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday, 6:00 am to 12:00 pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FARGO, ND. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
