Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Busser to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, with a willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field. Duties Efficiently wash dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Assist in bussing tables by clearing dishes, utensils, and debris to maintain a clean dining area. Support food preparation tasks as needed, including basic cooking and assembling of ingredients. Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas, including sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and cleaning surfaces. Collaborate with kitchen staff during peak hours to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Follow food safety protocols for handling and storing food items to ensure compliance with health regulations. Assist with banquet setups and catering events as required, demonstrating flexibility in job responsibilities. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is a plus. Experience in bussing or serving is beneficial for understanding the flow of service. A background in culinary arts or hotel experience can enhance your candidacy. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment are essential for success in this role.
