The Food Service Worker position is located at our Wasilla, AK Yogurt Shop.The ideal candidate will be sales and team-oriented, display strong attention to detail, and always maintain professionalism. The Food Service Worker is a skilled multi-tasker and demonstrates creative methods to achieve growth in sales.JOB SUMMARYWelcomes guests and ensures quality service is provided.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESFollow Sanitation Safety Procedures and Daily Sanitation GuidelinesUtilize proper hand washing techniquesUnderstands and utilizes proper sequence of serviceCooperative with fellow Team Members- will lend a helping hand if possibleMaintains station and completes side workPunctual, reliable and adheres to work scheduleEnsure that all guests have been paid for at entrance.Cashier can properly split checks, multi-tender checks, comps, coupons and city ledgers.Family Style Service - smile, greet, serve, and thank the guest.Serve the guests in a respectful and positive manner.Be knowledgeable of other departments to inform our guests.Positive attitude and great appearance.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES *Must have the ability to provide our guests with excellent customer service, have excellent communication skills and observation skills, and have an easygoing demeanor to ensure a fun and safe environment for our guests.Be able to multitask and able to work under stressful situations.QUALIFICATIONS:High School - GED Diploma requiredAbility to stay calm, patient and professional at all times.Excellent customer service skills and knowledge of balancing and maintaining budgets.WORK ENVIRONMENT:Ability to stand for prolong periods of timePosition may require extended hours including evenings and weekends.Schedule:VariousSalary/Benefits:Competitive PayPaid Time OffHealthcareDentalVisionLife InsuranceHealth Savings Account401K Savings PlanACKNOWLEDGMENT:Note: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature of the work performed.
