Role: FlowCal Measurement CoordinatorLocation: ONSITE in Houston, TX 77079Duration: 6 Month Contract to HireJob Description:The purpose of this position is to coordinate and document current and new processes and procedures to assist with FlowCal and measurement integration efforts. Also to assist in implementing new policies and creating analytic dashboards and tools via Spotfire and/or Power BI.Position may also be called on to ensure quality oil and gas measurement information is provided to all customers on a timely basis. Customers include operations production and revenue accounting, engineering, royalty management, auditing and third parties. Data integrity is handled by resolving data exceptions, identifying missing or incorrect data, figuring out appropriate corrective actions, and verifying the correct application of sample analysis information. This position ensures the accuracy of oil and gas measurement.Job Description:Your responsibilities may include:Documentation and creation of current processes and procedures.Assist in leading efforts to investigate and document new solutions to current processes.Develop Spotfire dashboards to assist analystsDevelop KPIs in the direction of measurement supervisor.Asist as needed measurement analyst in the belowRun FLOWCAL exception resolver daily and work independently to resolve identified exceptions weeklyWill be assigned one or more specific FlowCal software modules and be designated as the resident expert for all associated functionality and vendor supportMaintains and evaluates facility balancing on a weekly/monthly basisInform field personnel when making corrections on meter information that requires action on their part and monitoring until resolvedProvide back up support for other Flow Measurement Analyst and assist in ensuring the team meets monthly closing cycle deadlinesImport and evaluate meter proving, meter calibration, and liquid and gas analyses to ensure data quality and conformance with contractual obligationsWork independently while accounting for required volumes and applying specific measurement practices and standardsRecognize volume errors, determine possible sources, and exercise discretion to develop approach for resolution and/or corrective actionsCommunicate volume discrepancies to appropriate personnel when necessary and partner for resolutionEnsure all oil and gas measurement data received from Operations is timely and accurateNotify field personnel when corrections are needed for reports used in tracking their measurement changes and activityObserve field activity reports and meter testing information to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations, and data accuracy to support overall operational integrityThis position will have final discretion on liquid or gas volume discrepancies between accounting, field, and Flow Analyst for the assigned areaBasic/Required:Legally authorized to work in the United StatesData Analytics and proficient in Spotfire, Power BI tools1 or more years of Field Measurement Operations, Production, Revenue Accounting, or Measurement AnalystProficiency with Microsoft Office SuitePreferred:3 or more years of experience working with FlowCal softwareAdvanced knowledge of gas and liquid measurement fundamentals and equipment, including various primary and secondary brands and stylesProficient in data warehouse tools sush as Snowflake and Scada data.Basic level of proficiency with sample analysis compositionsBasic level of proficiency with data/file manipulationUnderstands key business processes and how your role impacts those processesAbility to perform and explain various mathematical calculations used in calculating gas and liquid volumesAbout INSPYR SolutionsTechnology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
