Compensation Analyst
DescriptionThe Compensation Analyst is an individual contributor supporting the pour client's System's Compensation function. This role involves conducting job analysis and evaluations, maintaining documentation, participating in compensation surveys, and communicating with both internal and external stakeholders. The Analyst applies analytical skills and creativity to suggest improvements or resolutions for Compensation Administration programs and initiatives.Principal Duties And Responsibilities Conducts job pricing using compensation best practices and AHS guidelines to recommend appropriate pay grade placement. Reviews requests for new or revised job classifications to determine the correct exempt or non-exempt status, in compliance with federal regulations. Performs audits to ensure data accuracy, clean-up, and standardization. Assists in reviewing, drafting, and editing job descriptions for accuracy. Effectively communicates with others, raising questions of interpretation and escalating issues to the lead or manager as necessary. Stays informed about AHS structure, leadership, company-wide policies, and industry best practices. Prepares and submits corporate salary survey data as directed. Assists with the annual market adjustment process, including loading and updating compensation data. Analyzes the impact of new or revised compensation programs, preparing reports that outline potential effects on costs, workforce, procedures, and communications. Serves as a resource on pay practices and policies, advising leadership on non-routine compensation decisions, policy interpretation, and job evaluations.
