Job description Position: Maintenance Lead Service Line Manager Company: Leadec Reports to: Facility Manager Department: Maintenance Position Purpose: Manage Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance of facility equipment as outlined within the scope of work Essential Duties and Responsibilities: . Demonstrates the values and business principles of Leadec . Works with the Facility Operations Manager on WWT and Powerhouse equipment . May be required to respond to WWT and Powerhouse Emergency Calls . Lead maintenance team, schedule work and follow up when completed. . Maintain applicable personal tool requirements at all time . Materials, parts and supply ordering as needed following JIT and Lean principles . Materials supplies and tool preparation for daily work tasks . Trouble shooting, repair and diagnosis of facility assets . Preventative maintenance of equipment or machinery . Corrective maintenance of equipment or machinery . Cleanup of work or service area following work activity . Materials, parts and supply disposal and 5's following work activity . Communication and documentation of complete and incomplete activity per established Leadec or customer process . Shift reports and meetings. Lead maintenance technicians in daily work. . Ensures that all facility and assets are maintained. Examples: cooling towers, roof building and ground, snow removal, boilers, fence, guardrails, perimeter lighting, alarm systems. Fire system, Generators and so on. . Lead on daily maintenance activities. Competencies: . Customer Service Orientation - Satisfying customers. . Ability to safely work and ensure the maintenance staff is following all safety policies and procedures. . Ability to provide "train the trainer" expertise on necessary skills. . knowledge and skills with Microsoft Suite. . Familiar with a CMMS Maintenance system. . Ability to demonstrate sound practices and methodology in the execution with mechanical, electrical issues or repairs, as well as any other assigned activities. . Have knowledge of reliability maintenance technologies, proactive and predictive maintenance practices. . Ability to communicate and work well with others. . Be capable of guiding and instructing the maintenance team with preparation and set up equipment for production after repair. . Ability to lead a team of Union skilled trades to ensure P.M. and corrective work is completed on time Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: . Comprehension Ability - Understanding and application of basic, intermediate, and advanced instructions. . Language Ability - Communication with others to convey information in a timely and effective manner. . Reading Ability - Cognitive ability to interact with written words or text . Reasoning Ability - Ability to conduct basic, intermediate, and advanced problem solving. . Working Knowledge with WWT, Powerhouse equipment. Pumps, Boilers, Chillers, Cooling towers. . Strong industrial mechanical, electrical, plumbing and pneumatic trouble shooting skills. . Strong leadership ability with time management and prioritization skills. . Provide support for emergency or unplanned repairs of facility equipment. . Follow electrical Safety Work Practices as outlined by NFPA 70 E . Troubleshoot basic to complex mechanical and electrical issues . Must show ability to get to the root cause and make and implement recommendations to improve reliability. . Actively participates in team meetings. . Ability to trouble shoot VFD and familiar with PLC systems. . Ability to build and direct a Union maintenance team. Position Qualifications: . High school diploma or equivalent GED required . Valid driver's license required for certain positions . Applicable Skill and Knowledge competency level demonstrated through certificate or testing required . Previous experience with Controls, PLC and Electrical system installation is a plus . Understanding of OSHA rules and regulations, follow EPA and NFPA rules and Building codes. . Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude . 3-5 yr. prior Maintenance Supervision. Physical Requirements: . The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of the job: . Required to talk and/or hear in an office and industrial setting (noise level is high). Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces from 4 -12 hours. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch. . Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment . Work is performed in an office and industrial-manufacturing environment with necessary time spent working on a computer or at a desk.
