Entry level industrial maintenance tech
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Using hand and air tools
Navigating heavy equipment
Conduct basic problem solving
Follow customer safety and quality requirements
Ability to quickly analyze and repair both mechanical and electrical equipment
Understand written job instructions
Use mechanical and/or electrical schematic, sketches manuals, specifications, and written and oral instructions to troubleshoot and repair equipment
Completing documentation of repair details as directed
All other duties as assigned by site management

Position, Environment & Physical Requirements:
The job requires lots of walking. The employee is required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is moderate). The employee is frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surface from 4-8 hours. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to work in a wet and closed environment. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Upper body strength is a plus.
MUST climb ladders and not be afraid of heights.
Use proper personal protective equipment, i.e., hard hat, hearing protection, steel toe shoes, safety glasses, foot/shin protectors and any additional protective gear required for the tasks.
Completion of Standard Training Program, (or certified on knowledge and capabilities from previous training / experience).
Experience and or Certifications with the following
Welding
Metal work/fabrication
Dock levelers and overhead doors
Heating and AC
HVAC
Residential/ Industrial Plumbing
Mechanical aptitude
Hydraulics
Pumps and piping
Electrical
No felonies or anything pending for the past 5 years, and must pass a comprehensive drug screen, including testing for THC. Onsite interview is required and small skills test.
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
