Electrical Engineering ManagerBothell, WA or Denton, TX5-days a week onsite155,000-160,000Job DescriptionAn aerospace company is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead a team responsible for the design, integration, certification, and testing of aircraft interior electrical systems. This individual will provide both technical and people leadership, ensuring engineering projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a team of Electrical Engineers supporting aircraft modification and certification programs.Oversee the design and integration of aircraft electrical systems, including cabin management, in-flight entertainment, connectivity, power distribution, lighting, environmental controls, and safety systems.Ensure engineering deliverables meet technical, quality, schedule, and budget requirements.Support recruiting, performance management, coaching, and career development of engineering staff.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Program Management, Certification, and Supply Chain.Drive process improvements, resource planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.Support proposals, project estimates, and staffing forecasts for new and existing programs.Required Skills & ExperienceQualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering preferred.8+ years of aerospace engineering experience.4+ years of experience leading engineering teams.Strong knowledge of aircraft interiors, electrical systems, and FAA certification requirements.Proven leadership experience with team development, mentoring, and performance management.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.Aerospace industry experience required.Ability to travel as needed.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
