Job Description Position SummaryAs a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for manufacturing components by operating and performing basic setups and operation of CNC lathes and milling machines. The ideal candidate will have a background in Aerospace & Defense or Medical industries and a strong commitment to producing precision components that meet strict quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, and monitor CNC lathes and milling machinesRead and interpret detailed blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate manufacturing.Perform precision measurements with calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify part dimensions.Follow company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirementsRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 4-5 years of experience operating CNC machinery between 1-2 different companies. Aerospace shop experience highly preferredExperience loading parts and running production with occasional edits/offsetsAbility to use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines accurately.Mechanical aptitudeBasic math skills for precise measurements.Problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting machine issues promptly, ability to work in a team and learn, approachable attitudeSchedule and PayThis is a full-time direct hire opportunity (permanent placement with the employer) Schedule: Days – open to potentially going to night shiftPay rate: $20.00-$33.00 per hour (based on experience)Application window: Open until filledAdditional Information Must be able to lift weights up to 50 lbs.Able to work for extended periods of time standing, bending, and stooping Benefits401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offEmployer InformationThis position is being recruited by NCW on behalf of a client company.
