This role supports inspection, documentation, tooling selection, and continuous process improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesSetup and operate CNC and/or manual machining equipmentMachine and test parts per engineering and customer specificationsRead and interpret blueprints and manufacturing documentationPerform inspections to verify tolerance and quality requirementsRemove burrs, sharp edges, and surface irregularitiesSelect and adjust cutting tools based on material and part requirementsMaintain accurate documentation and part identificationSupport manufacturing methods and tooling recommendationsCommunicate shift handoff requirements clearlyPerform routine machine maintenanceMaintain clean and organized work areasSupport continuous material flow through manufacturing cellsFollow all safety standards and regulationsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years machining experienceStrong blueprint reading skillsWorking knowledge of machining mathBasic understanding of inspection techniquesAbility to train or guide lower skill team membersPhysical RequirementsLift up to 50 lbs floor to waistPush or pull up to 60 lbsGrip strength minimum 50 lbsAdditional RequirementsU.S. Citizenship requiredAbility to obtain U.S. Government Security Clearance if required
