This position will also be responsible for all minor repairs and management of the maintenance/facilities issues including, but not limited to, all warehouse equipment, trucks, conveyors, compactors as well as general property issues.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesInspect building/racking structure and determine if repairs are needed.Maintain clean, safe work areas throughout Distribution Center.Ensure all Fire Extinguisher service schedules are up to date, and that all Fire exits are clear from pallets, product or debris.Hold and actively utilize required certifications to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyor systems, and commercial vehicles.Repair or coordinate repair of all material handling equipment (conveyor, compactor, drives, motors, put-to-light, etc.) in compliance with the work order policy.Keep/maintain preventative maintenance records on all equipment.Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance, appearance and high degree of professionalism in communication and attitude with customers, teammates, corporate partners and vendors.Adhere to all local, federal, and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices. These may include but are not limited to complying with the Company’s Time & Attendance policy and procedures and partnering with management to sustain workplace health and safety requirements according to OSHA regulations and the Company safety guidelines.Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management.
