Job DescriptionAramark Facilities Management is hiring a Maintenance Technician to support multiple facility locations.This is a high-skill, hands-on role responsible for maintaining and repairing critical building systems including HVAC, plumbing, dock equipment, and general facility infrastructure. You will troubleshoot issues, perform preventative maintenance, and take ownership of system performance across sites.This role is best suited for a self-sufficient technician who can work independently, manage their workload, and identify opportunities to prevent failures and improve operations.Compensation: This role pays between $40.00 and $45.00 per hour, based on experience, licensing, and overall technical skill setCompensation DataCOMPENSATION: The Hourly rate for this position is $40.00 to $45.00. If both numbers are the same, that is the amount that Aramark expects to offer. For jobs in San Francisco, this includes the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.Job ResponsibilitiesGeneral Maintenance & OperationsPerform preventative maintenance (PM) and complete work orders across facility systemsTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and building systemsDevelop and manage maintenance schedules and task listsIdentify issues early and recommend solutions to prevent downtimeMaintain inventory and order parts as neededHVAC SystemsPerform routine HVAC maintenance including filters, belts, lubrication, and inspectionsTroubleshoot common HVAC issues and perform repairsSupport systems such as chillers, cooling towers, and high-volume water pumpsPlumbingRepair and maintain commercial plumbing systems including faucets, flush valves, and drainsPerform general troubleshooting and fixture replacementDock & Facility EquipmentMaintain and repair dock doors, roll-up doors, and high-speed doorsService dock systems including dock locks, seals, and restraintsPerform inspections, adjustments, and mechanical repairsFire Life SafetyConduct monthly fire extinguisher inspections and identify issuesMaintain and restock first aid stationsAutonomy & Vendor ManagementWork independently and manage daily workload without direct supervisionCoordinate and oversee third-party vendors to ensure quality workCommunicate findings and provide recommendations for repairs and improvementsAt Aramark, developing new skills and doing what it takes to get the job done make a positive impact for our employees and for our customers. In order to meet our commitments, job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice.QualificationsQualificationsExperience in facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance, or building maintenanceStrong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systemsAbility to troubleshoot complex issues and work independentlyExperience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipmentBasic computer skills including Microsoft Office and tablet-based systemsPreferred QualificationsLevel 2 HVAC license (or equivalent)Experience with chillers, cooling towers, and commercial systemsExperience with dock equipment or industrial environmentsRequirementsValid driver?s license with clean driving recordAbility to travel between locations as neededAbility to pass a background check and drug screenAbility to perform physical work including lifting, climbing, and working in varied environmentsThis role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
