The Vision Products Group (VPG) is looking for a Triage Engineer to help us push the limits of the next generation of interactive experiences on our platform. This team is working with some of Apple's most advanced technologies including spatial computing, augmented reality, ARKit and Metal, to create groundbreaking new products. As a Triage Engineer on the RealityKit framework and tools team, you are the first point of contact for issues related to our AR/VR frameworks and tools. You will apply your knowledge of Apple platforms, content creation workflows, RealityKit, and visionOS to resolve failures quickly and systematically. You will debug failures coming from QA, developers, and creators building spatial computing experiences on our platform. You will partner with engineers from a cross-functional group to quickly root cause failures, identify patterns, and prioritize the issues that matter most to our customers. You will drive systematic improvements to these processes and develop tooling based on your findings to enhance efficiency of the entire team..BS/MS in Computer Science OR equivalent degree OR equivalent experience 2+ years of relevant industry experience Familiarity with Gen AI coding tools for log investigation, code analysis, code generation, scripting, dashboard creation, and debugging workflows Strong problem solving ability and curiosity Familiarity with using debuggers and analyzing system logs, crash logs, and backtraces Experience with scripting and automation (bash, Python, or equivalent) Ability to analyze and prioritize a high volume of incoming issues Solid understanding of UNIX-based operating systems and terminal workflows Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaboration
