Purchasing and Warehouse Manager
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for managing the procurement function within our Food & Beverage department. The Purchasing and Warehouse Managers responsibilities include but are not limited to developing, implementing and executing purchasing strategies and process, leveraging buys to drive down purchasing costs, developing and maintaining positive working relationships with suppliers and coordinating with internal teams regarding their supply needs such as setting min / max quantities and ensuring FIFO procedures are in place and followed. The Purchasing and Warehouse Manager oversees all aspects of warehouse operations; managing a team that includes a Receiver and Warehouse staff.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the purchasing and receiving function for the Concessions and Event/Catering businesses to include the development, implementation, execution, and management of purchasing strategies and processes.
Manage daily purchasing activities for the Concessions and Event/Catering businesses, ensuring proper levels of inventory are established, maintained at all times and buys are leveraged for best pricing to drive down overall purchasing costs.
Manage daily warehouse operations to include receiving procedures, monitoring inventory levels, product organization, storage and distribution in accordance with established safety and sanitation standards.
Facilitate the integration of the purchasing/inventory system (Fourth) into full adoption in the Food & Beverage department. Determine accountability, action items, cadence, and timelines with department functional leaders.
Manage suppliers to include establishing agreements with key suppliers, purchasing agreements and related documentation, purchasing and payment program implementation, pricing, and specifications as established by department directors.
Ensure that all procured items meet the required quality standards, specifications and agreed upon pricing.
Lead, manage and coach the Purchasing and Warehouse staff. This role will be instrumental in developing the full and part-time team and will include all administration of functional training, performance management, program compliance and payroll preparation. Work collaboratively with Human Resources on recruiting, staff planning and performance issues.
Work cross functionally with other departments on data generation, analysis, and to determine actionable steps to increase accuracy of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and responsibility for accurate monthly inventory of warehouse, inputting of locations ending inventory and transfer management.
Assists in year-end purchasing and accounting audits and for capital projects.

Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality or similar is preferred.
3-5 years of professional work experience in Warehouse, Purchasing or Supply Chain leadership or similar position
Deep knowledge of inventory and supply chain management
Quick to learn business operations, functions, and processes to provide guidance on operational improvements and/or system solutions to address them.
Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately.
Proven experience supporting, as an admin, vendor-provided applications
Strong analytical skills, excellent verbal, and written communication skills to be used to interact proficiently with all levels of management and staff.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Must demonstrate discipline, self-reliance, dependability, and good judgment.
