Senior Project Architect

Role: Associate / Project ArchitectLocation: Los AngelesWork Authority: Candidates MUST be able to work in the USA without the need for current or future sponsorshipOur client is a well-established architecture and design studio with a portfolio of large-scale hospitality, medical, and residential projects across the U.S. and internationally. They are now seeking a highly experienced Associate / Project Architect to join their team and lead some of their most significant projects.Key ResponsibilitiesWork directly with clients, client project managers, authorities having jurisdiction, and consultants.Handle the most complex projects of the largest magnitude.Play an active role in marketing efforts and project acquisition.Develop long-term relationships with project teams to support continued growth and client satisfaction.Serve as the primary liaison contact with clients to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Estimate fees, determine the scope of work, and prepare proposals and contracts for complex projects.Coordinate all project efforts, prepare strategic plans, and manage execution effectively.Actively manage project budgets, schedules, programs, communications, documentation, and team assignments.Oversee project managers and staff, providing mentorship and leadership to ensure success across all phases.May act in a team leader capacity in the absence of staff.Design, plan, and oversee the construction of buildings, guiding multiple projects simultaneously from conception to completion.Demonstrate full understanding of the California Building Code, International Building Code, ANSI, Health Codes, CalOSHA, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and industry standards/standard of care.Qualifications10+ years of professional experience in architecture.Architectural licensure is required.Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.Proven ability to manage complex projects and multidisciplinary teams.Experience developing client relationships and contributing to business development.Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, or similar design software preferred.Why JoinOpportunity to work on landmark projects of significant scale and complexity.Collaborative, design-driven culture that values innovation and professional growth.Competitive compensation and benefits package, including health coverage, paid holidays, and professional development support.Flexible and supportive work environment that values work-life balance.How to ApplyTo express interest, please submit your resume and portfolio (PDF or online link preferred).
