Team members collaborate with brands, agencies, and venues to bring complex visual experiences to life on time and on budget.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pre Press Operator role based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. The Pre Press Operator prepares and processes digital files for large format and specialty print production, ensuring all artwork meets technical specifications and color standards. Daily responsibilities include reviewing client-supplied files, preflighting, color correction, image retouching, and formatting layouts for various substrates and printing processes. The role involves creating and imposing plates or digital print-ready files, managing proofs, and coordinating with production and design teams to resolve file issues. The Pre Press Operator also maintains pre-press equipment, follows established workflows, and helps uphold quality and consistency across all printed materials.QualificationsStrong knowledge of Print Production workflows, including large format and specialty printing processes.Hands-on experience in Pre-press, including file preparation, preflighting, color management, and proofing.Practical skills in Printing environments, collaborating with press operators and production teams to ensure accurate output.Experience with CTP (computer-to-plate) systems and related software, including file imposition and output settings.Proficiency in Plate Making for offset or related print processes, including plate quality checks and maintenance.Proficiency with industry-standard design and pre-press software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, RIP software, imposition tools).Strong attention to detail, ability to read and interpret production specs, and commitment to quality and deadlines.Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced production environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Previous experience in large format, signage, or event graphics production preferred; technical or vocational training in graphic arts or printing is a plus.
