Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/24/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Experience Requirements 2 years of current ICU experience required Charge Nurse experience required (candidate must be comfortable working as Charge RN ) Certifications BLS (Basic Life Support) NIH (NIH Stroke Scale certification) ??? Patient Ratio Typical ratio: 1:5 or 1:6 EMR System Meditech EMR experience preferred (not mandatory but helpful) License Requirement Must have Kentucky (KY) RN license OR a Compact RN license Schedule Facilities follow 36/48 schedule for a 2-week pay period Example: Week 1 – 36 hrs Week 2 – 48 hrs Other Important Notes Ratios may change depending on census, call-ins, etc. Orientation occurs every 2 weeks (bi-weekly) Start date listed in the job = required start date Distance Requirement Traveler must live 100 miles away from the facility ?
