The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing scalable, high-performance applications within payment processing environments, leveraging modern Java technologies, microservices architecture, and AWS cloud services. Experience with payment gateways, transaction processing, settlement, reconciliation, or financial systems is highly preferred.Required Skills8+ years of hands-on Java development experienceStrong expertise in Java 11/17+, Spring Boot, Spring MVCExperience building Microservices and REST APIsStrong AWS experience with services such as:EC2EKSLambdaS3RDSDynamoDBCloudWatchAPI GatewayExperience with Kafka, MQ, or event-driven architecturesStrong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL)Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDBFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelinesExperience with Git, Jenkins, Maven, and Agile/Scrum methodologiesStrong debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skillsPayments Domain Experience (Mandatory)Hands-on experience with payment processing systemsKnowledge of payment gateways, transaction lifecycle, settlement, and reconciliationUnderstanding of financial messaging standards such as SWIFT, ISO 20022, ACH, Wire Transfers, or Card PaymentsExperience working on high-volume, mission-critical payment applicationsResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications.Build cloud-native solutions using AWS services.Develop and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices.Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams.Implement secure, resilient, and high-performing payment applications.Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and production support.Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.Contribute to CI/CD automation and cloud deployment strategies.Preferred QualificationsAWS Certification is a plus.Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.Knowledge of distributed systems and cloud-native architecture.Prior experience in Banking, FinTech, Credit Card, Merchant Services, or Payments industry.EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.Droisys is an equal opportunity employer.
