Transplant/Cell Therapy - Peds BMT - Clinical Investigator

Job Description Our organization is actively seeking to fill faculty positions at various ranks (Assistant/Associate/Professor) within the Division of Transplant and Cell Therapy (TCT) and Hematological Malignancies. We invite clinical investigators to join our team, with potential leadership roles available.We are in search of dynamic faculty clinical investigators who are eager to establish a patient-centered program that emphasizes academic and clinical research. This role will involve close collaboration with our established basic and translational scientists.The ideal candidate will primarily focus on clinical responsibilities but will also be expected to engage in the development, execution, and participation in clinical trials and collaborative research related to blood and marrow transplantation, as well as cellular immunotherapy.Our organization fosters a collaborative and supportive environment, particularly for recent graduates and junior faculty members.Teaching duties will include supervising residents, fellows, and mid-level providers during both outpatient and inpatient care.In addition to conventional therapies, the TCT/Hematological Malignancies Division is dedicated to innovating and implementing new treatments for hematological malignancies. This includes exploring novel agents, small molecule inhibitors, immune therapies (such as CAR-T, cell-based therapies, monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, and gene therapy), as well as both autologous and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for various malignant and non-malignant conditions.Candidates may choose to focus on specific hematological diseases and treatment modalities based on their preferences.This role is supported by our Cancer Center Clinical Trials Unit, which includes dedicated clinic space, infusion centers, an inpatient unit, a new cGMP and TCT laboratory, and a FACT-accredited TCT program for pediatric autologous and allogeneic BMT and immune effector cell therapy. Additionally, we have a fully characterized tumor sample repository and a state-of-the-art Children's Hospital that opened in 2021, all located on the Medical School campus.Founded in 1905, our organization is home to the only Children's Hospital in the Inland Empire of Southern California, providing specialized transplant and cell therapy services for children.Qualifications for this position include an MD (or equivalent), completion of fellowships in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology or Immunology, and a TCT fellowship (or equivalent experience) is preferred. Candidates should also be board eligible or certified in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology or Immunology.We offer a comprehensive salary and benefits package, with academic appointments tailored to experience and qualifications. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives and is subject to departmental compensation plans.
