As an energy-saving solutions provider with core competencies in power electronics and automation, Delta's business categories include Power Electronics, Mobility, Automation, and Infrastructure.About the role:The Industrial Engineer (IE) is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations and continuous improvement activities through process analysis, capacity planning, manpower allocation, and system integration to enhance overall production efficiency and quality stability. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, Engineering, and IT, to promptly resolve production issues, drive process optimization, digitalization and automation initiatives, maintain MES/SOP-related systems and documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. In addition, the IE is expected to support different production shifts based on operational needs to provide real-time engineering support and minimize production risks.Key responsibilities:Support Day and Night Shift Production Operations Ensure real-time engineering support is available across all shifts to maintain production efficiency and operational stability.Analyze Production Efficiency and Manpower Allocation Evaluate cycle time, manpower utilization, and line balancing to continuously improve capacity and resource efficiency.Troubleshoot Production Issues and Line Abnormalities Identify and resolve production issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and mitigate quality risks.Drive Process Improvement Initiatives Collaborate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to implement continuous improvement and enhance overall operational performance.Maintain Process Documentation Develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and traceability.Support MES System Stability and Issue Resolution Monitor and resolve Manufacturing Execution System (MES) issues to ensure stable system performance and production support.Ensure Compliance with Safety and Quality StandardsEnsure all operations adhere to safety regulations and quality requirements. Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.0–3 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, manufacturing, or production environment (internship experience is preferred).Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, line balancing, and productivity improvement.Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.Basic AutoCAD skills and experience with factory/production line layout planning are preferred.Basic understanding of ERP/MES systems is preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Actual pay will depend on factors such as location, skills, experience, market conditions, and business needs. This role may also be eligible for incentive pay, subject to the terms of the applicable plan.
