Senior Process EngineerPer Diem: $178.00Hours: Full Time - 40 hours/week estimated, depending on project needs, 50 hours/week max.Position Details:Conduct construction document reviews as requiredPlan, organize, and coordinate process / mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team / design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startupPrepare and review calculations and specifications relating to Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) developmentDemonstrate design experience in areas such as, but not limited to mechanical systems and equipment designGenerate and review the accuracy of design / evaluation calculations, and specifications.Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is requiredEducation Requirements:Must be a U.S. Citizen.Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.Must have a working knowledge of federal (including Department of Energy Orders), state, and local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.Physical Requirements:Job duties may include periodic physical duties. Most job duties will require the ability to work at a desk - sitting/standing in a stationary position for extended periods of time, visual acuity for computer work, etc.
