IFS has an immediate full-time opportunity to join our Janitorial Services Team as a Janitorial Crew Member. If you want a flexible schedule to earn some additional income while being part of an exciting, dynamic and growing team with leadership opportunities in a fast-paced environment, then this is the job for you! If this sounds like the right environment for you, then why wait, APPLY TODAY!! Work Schedule: Days/nights vary, including weekends Shifts Available:.Summary of duties:Clean and maintain building floor surfaces, including but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming, degumming and spot cleaningClean furniture, walls, glass, mirrors, fixtures, machines and other equipment (e.g. Dust, wash, vacuum, and polish)Gather and empty trashService, clean and supply restroomsMay move furniture, light fixtures or other items manually or with hand truckMay extract carpet (small jobs)Execute proper use of all equipmentClean and maintain cleaning equipment per instructions (e.g. rags, mops, machines, tools and buckets)Prepare cleaning solutions (water, detergents and other chemicals) according to specificationsMonitor and report facility issues requiring repairs (notify Lead, Site or Zone Manager)Monitor building security and safety (lock doors after operating hours and ensure electrical appliances are turned off, etc.)Properly stack and replace cleaning items and toolsEnsure supplies are available for each shiftReport supply requisition needs to Lead/ManagerRequirements for our Janitorial Crew Member position:  Experience in building and warehouse cleaning work. Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved oral or written instructions. Communication skills to relate to officials, staff and public in a courteous manner. Disposition to perform other duties as assigned. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required). What’s In It for You?As a full-time IFS employee (working 30+ hours per week), you may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, which can include:Health Insurance (medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision)Life Insurance401(k) plan with employer matchPlease Note:Benefits may vary depending on the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
