In addition to our dedication to our reporting role, we are responsible for and highly focused on building the appropriate infrastructure to support the development of our new product initiatives.About The RoleWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support the accounting, reporting, controls, and operational processes of a SEC Registered debt investment vehicle. In this role, you will work directly alongside the FAC Manager and SVP of Finance. This is a hands-on learning environment where senior leadership is accessible, engaged, and committed to building the next generation of finance talent at BIP Capital. You'll gain meaningful exposure to SEC reporting, investment company accounting, and fund operations — with the structure and mentorship to grow into increasing responsibility over time. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, eager to develop technical depth, and ready to contribute in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Location: Hybrid 2x week in-office (Atlanta/Buckhead HQ)Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & AccountingWork closely with finance leadership for maintaining accurate books and records of the SEC Registered debt investment vehiclePrepare key components of the entity's SEC filings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to regulatory requirementsAssist with the preparation and review of periodic financial statements and supporting schedulesValuation & ControlsCollaborate closely with the FAC Manager and SVP Finance to support the quarterly valuation process, including data preparation, analysis, and documentationWork jointly with finance leadership to design and implement internal controls that ensure complete, accurate, and timely financial reportingHelp drive best practices around operational risk management and process improvementsTechnology & Process DevelopmentPartner with the FAC Manager and SVP Finance to build and enhance technology solutions that support the investment vehicle's operations, accounting, and reporting workflowsSupport automation initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, transparency, and data integrityAudit & ComplianceAct as a key liaison with external auditors, supporting efficient and effective quarterly reviews and the annual audit processWork closely with the FAC Senior to support the compliance program for the SEC Registered debt investment vehicle, including aspects of RIA compliance and related regulatory requirementsRequirementsQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA eligible or actively pursuing2 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting, preferably within asset management, investment vehicles, or financial services.
