This role works with limited guidance, takes ownership of assigned responsibilities, and collaborates closely with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform general accounting functions, including reconciliations of various accountsAssist with financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting on a daily, monthly, and annual basisEvaluate, maintain, and help further develop financial controls and projectionsSupport month-end and year-end closing processesPrepare and deliver ad hoc reports and special projects as assignedCollaborate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure accurate financial dataMaintain general ledger accuracy and perform variance analysisWork independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for work quality and deadlinesSupport purchasing and inventory-related accounting functions (experience preferred)Preferred QualificationsStrong analytical and accounting skills with a solid understanding of GAAPMinimum of 5+ years of general accounting or bookkeeping experienceHands-on experience with QuickBooks OnlineAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookExperience assisting with month-end close processesBackground in general ledger accounting and variance analysisStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational and time-management abilitiesSelf-starter with demonstrated leadership and ownership mindsetBenefits401(k)Health InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsurancePaid Time OffPre-Employment RequirementsE-Verify and background checkDrug screening
