Dispatch Manager

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Manager Join our fast-growing team in the exciting travel industry! This position requires a great deal of responsibility - you will work closely with the management team to manage the day-to-day operations; run our dispatch line, answer customer emails and chats, keep inventory stocked, assist with van rescues; and help the Operations Manager manage our fleet. SKILL SETS REQUIRED Attention to detail - small details matter; the kind of person that can triple check the small stuff when needed Forward thinking and analytical: predict problems before they arise and solve problems when they arise by thinking through them. Excellent and clear communicator in all forms: phone, text, e-mail, and face-to-face Good with people - both leading internal team members as well as customer service skills with the public COMPENSATION AND PERKS Salary: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year 18 days of Paid Time Off 401(k) match after your first year. Like where you work - fun atmosphere, great colleagues, rewarding RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor the dispatch line and assist drivers with any issues while they are on the road. Use forward thinking to assess what might be a problem and take action to prevent and mitigate those factors. Answer emails from guests and potential guests Assist current management team with day to day tasks. Take vehicles in for maintenance appointments Send replacement vans to guides in emergency situations. Review tour guide routes for consistency. QUALIFICATIONS 2 years of managerial experience Excellent organizational skills. High-level written and spoken communication abilities. Outstanding interpersonal relationship building skills.
