Software Engineer 2Markon is seeking a Software Engineer 2 to support the development and deployment of scalable, cloud-based software solutions in a mission-focused environment for an Intelligence Customer. The Software Engineer will contribute to designing, building, and maintaining reliable applications and infrastructure using modern programming languages and cloud technologies. ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain software applications using Go and Python. Develop and manage infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform in AWS environments. Build and support cloud-native services and integrations leveraging AWS tooling. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. Support deployment, integration, and sustainment of software in production environments. Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical troubleshooting activities. Contribute to software documentation and development best practices. QualificationsRequired Qualifications Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph with this Customer. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline plus 14 years of relevant experience. Required experience developing software with Go and Python. Required experience using Terraform for infrastructure automation. Required experience working with AWS services and tooling. Experience supporting cloud-native or distributed systems. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a secure, mission-oriented environment. Salary RangeUSD $210,000.00 - USD $225,000.00 /Yr.
