If you enjoy working with energetic people in a collaborative environment, we want to speak with you!Position: Pharmacy TechnicianLocation: 4620 S Sam Houston Pkwy W, Ste 440, Houston, TX 77053Duration: 3 Month contract to start, potential for extension and/or conversion to FTERate: $20-24/HrStart Date: ASAPPosition background:Accurately pick, pack, and process outgoing pharmacy orders in accordance with established procedures and local State Board of PharmacyAdhere to policies and procedures pertaining to packaging medication and supplies, ensuring the integrity of the product for our patients.Perform various warehouse functions such as emptying trash, assembling boxes, cleaning work area, processing and cleaning returned equipment etcMay also assist with inventory duties, including proper storage and restocking of medication and supplies, receiving, and unpacking vendor shipments, and performing counts of physical inventoryMay also support administrative tasks for the Pharmacy, such as scanning documentsCreate or fix shipping labels as needed and bring packages to shipping, mail, and courier as needed.Communicate with the Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacy Supervisor regarding all patient questions and/or issuesAdhere to all HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) regulations and Confidentiality and Code of Conduct.Qualifications: Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in the state of TexasNational Pharmacy Technician Certification1+ year experience as a Pharmacy TechnicianThe temp hire will be standing about 75% of their work dayand expected to lift approximately 25lbs.Hours: Either 8-5pm or 9-6pm, Monday through FridayMin Education: High School Diploma or GED
