Large managed care company is looking for a Pharmacy Technician for a short-term contract assignment.WORK LOCATION: 4620 S Sam Houston Pkwy W, Ste 440, Houston, TX 77053PAY: $19.00CONTRACT DATES: 6/1/26 - 9/14/26HOURS: M-F, 8-5 OR 9-6RESPONSIBILITIESAccurately pick, pack, and process outgoing pharmacy orders in accordance with established procedures and local State Board of PharmacyAdhere to policies and procedures pertaining to packaging medication and supplies, ensuring the integrity of the product for our patientsPerform various warehouse functions such as emptying trash, assembling boxes, cleaning work area, processing and cleaning returned equipment etcMay also assist with inventory duties, including proper storage and restocking of medication and supplies, receiving, and unpacking vendor shipments, and performing counts of physical inventoryMay also support administrative tasks for the Pharmacy, such as scanning documentsCreate or fix shipping labels as needed and bring packages to shipping, mail, and courier as neededQUALIFICATIONSHighschool/GED or equivalentPharmacy Technician License in TXNational Pharmacy Technician Certification1+ year experience as a Pharmacy TechnicianAble to stand about 75% of the day and lift approximately 25lbs
