This role also supports HellermannTyton's Quality and EHS certifications by following all corporate policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.Essential ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, diagnose, and recommend solutions for processing issuesStart up injection molding presses after mold changes, material changes, repairs, rehangs, or mold cleansMonitor process parameters and ensure alarms are activeSubmit first?piece samples to the Quality LabPerform material changes and set scalesManage regrind and scrapAssist with automation alarms and troubleshootingAccurately enter downtime and scrap data in the Mattec Process Monitoring SystemWork with Industrial Engineering to ensure proper process documentationParticipate in technical meetings and support continuous improvementCommunicate using company radios while following radio etiquetteMaintain housekeeping standards (purge, scrap parts, equipment storage)Support Quality, EHS, and certification requirementsAdditional DutiesEvaluate current processing conditions and recommend improvementsDevelop procedures and training/reference materialsSupport internal and external audit preparednessPerform other duties as assignedRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong troubleshooting and problem?solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively at all organizational levelsDetail?oriented with strong organizational skillsAbility to work independently or in a team environmentStrong computer skillsExtensive knowledge of scientific injection molding principlesKnowledge of DOE and SPC principlesProven ability to prioritize and multitaskEducation & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (required)3+ years of experience as a Process Technician (preferred)Excellent mechanical aptitudeStrong time management and interpersonal skillsAdvanced injection molding education preferredPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbsAbility to stand, walk, and work for extended periods of timeApply today and find the next step in your career!
