Cloud Security Integration Architect (Onsite)

Luna Data Solutions is seeking a Cloud Security Integration Architect for a long term contract opportunity in Austin.Onsite 4-5x per week in Austin** Must live in the Austin area at time of submittal **We are seeking a Cloud Security Integration Architect to support the secure integration of Google Gemini for Government (Gemini Gov) with the Microsoft enterprise backbone.The resource will focus on security-by-design cross-platform integration, ensuring Gemini Gov integrates with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, and Outlook while preserving security boundaries, access controls, auditability, interoperability, and compliance with public-sector requirements.Required Background8 years of experience designing and implementing secure cloud architectures and data privacy measures in government or regulated environments.Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.Hands-on expertise with Google Workspace Administration, Google Gemini, Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 services, including SharePoint Online and Outlook.Experience integrating Google Gemini Gov or Gemini Enterprise with Microsoft-based enterprise platforms.Strong identity and access management (IAM) and least-privilege access and RBAC model design experience.Experience implementing security controls, audit logging, and monitoring. Good understanding on NIST 800 controls and CIS baselines for Microsoft and Google.Experience producing architecture diagrams and technical documentation using MS Visio, MS Word.Experience working as a staff augmentation resource under agency governance.Preferred SkillsExperience supporting Microsoft-first or hybrid Microsoft/Google enterprise environments.Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Google Gemini or Google Workspace.Familiarity with public-sector cloud security frameworks, compliance standards, and accreditation requirements.What Luna Data OffersCompetitive compensation and benefits, including health, dental, vision, life, accident, and disability insurance.Great work-life balance.Work on high profile projects.This is a contract opportunity based in Austin and no sponsorship can be provided.
