Key responsibilities include detailed review and interpretation of lease terms; drafting and editing of supporting documents including subleases, amendments, estoppel certificates, SNDAs; assisting with completion of permitting documents; and monitoring, tracking and reporting key dates and lease information. This role will work closely with the Real Estate Site Selection Managers, Lease Administration, and Facilities teams, driving further efficiencies, reliability, consistent reporting, and documentation of lease terms.You Will: Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.Prepare lease documents, including review, editing, and drafting of lease amendments, letter agreements, option notices, license agreements (e.g., signage, parking, etc.), and other documentation in coordination with Leasing Manager, Site Selection, Design/Construction, Lease Administration, Facilities, and Legal teams as appropriate.Require focused attention to detail, ability to analyze terms to ensure that written agreements are complete, accurate and consistent with negotiated letters of intent/term sheets, compliant with lease requirements, and reflect best-in-class industry standards.Interpret and advise internal stakeholders on terms of real estate contracts, including leases, subleases, amendments, construction exhibits/work letters, and related real estate documentation, including critical dates, allocation of responsibilities, business terms, and identification of potentially problematic provisions. Throughout the lifecycle of the property, this role provides ongoing support in the resolution of contract related disputes and compliance issues (landlord/tenant/subtenant), including matters escalated through Lease Administration.Coordinate execution, filing, and distribution of signed agreements.Require ability to manage high volume of projects, with appropriate focus on prioritization to ensure agreements are secured prior to expiration of critical dates, and other required timelines are met.Involve communication and collaboration with landlords, brokers, subtenants, internal stakeholders, and in-house and/or outside legal counsel.Other job duties as assigned.Your Experience Should Include: Required: 3-5 years of commercial real estate experience, servicing a multi-unit portfolio (retail tenant or landlord) or equivalent.Required: Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certification, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.Required: Strong language and communication skills.Required: Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational ability.Required: Ability to consistently produce high quality work under tight deadlines and stressful situations.Preferred: Paralegal, legal assistant, contract management, or lease administration background.Preferred: Experience with real estate lease administration software (Lucernex, Accruent, Tririga, etc.)Salary Range: $74,816 - $134,435Compensation is determined based on education, experience, and other relevant credentials. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, location, and market competitiveness.
