Permanent Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon Position Type: Permanent PlacementSpecialty: Physician - Surgery - Orthopedic TraumaLocation: Saginaw, MIRate: Open & NegotiableShift: Days + On-CallStart Date: TBDEnd Date: N/A Position Details: Patient Population: All ages, trauma and orthopedic surgery casesSetting: Hospital-based practice at Covenant HealthCareResponsibilities:Diagnose, treat, and surgically manage complex orthopedic trauma casesProvide specialized care for polytrauma, acute fractures, joint injuries, nonunion/malunion fractures, bone infections, and musculoskeletal traumasWork collaboratively with a 10-physician orthopedic teamCall responsibility: Approximately 4 calls per monthRequired Procedures: Orthopedic trauma surgeries, including pelvis and extremity fractures, joint injuries, and complex reconstructionsEMR System: EPICSupport Staff: Multidisciplinary team, including orthopedic surgeons, trauma specialists, and advanced practice providersDays Per Month: Full-time schedule with call coverageOn-Call/Weekends: 4 calls per month Submission Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS only) - RequiredFellowship-trained in Orthopedic Trauma - RequiredActive MI license or in process of obtaining - Highly Preferred2+ years of experience in Orthopedic Trauma - Preferred Join us today!
