With remarkable accuracy in determining the presence or absence of fluid in the middle ear, our device eliminates subjectivity and speculation, providing patients with a non-invasive and comprehensive assessment of middle ear fluid, even in the presence of significant earwax.Job Description:We are seeking an experienced and driven Director of Sales to lead our sales team and drive our go-to-market strategy. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, a strong track record in medical device sales, and the ability to build and execute a robust sales strategy that supports our growth objectives.Key Responsibilities:Sales Strategy Development:Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives.Team Leadership:Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing sales team. Foster a culture of success, continuous improvement, and achievement.Market Analysis:Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape. Use this information to inform sales strategies and tactics.Customer Relationships:Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, hospitals, and other medical institutions.Sales Operations:Oversee sales operations, including setting targets, monitoring performance, and ensuring the team meets or exceeds sales goals.Collaboration:Work closely with the marketing, reimbursement, product development, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.Reporting:Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management.Factors for Success:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.Experience:Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within medical device or biotechnology. Recent experience in ENT and/or pediatrics is a plus.Business Acumen and Sales Execution:Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.In-depth understanding of the medical device market.Analytical and data-driven approach to sales management.Ability to travel as needed.Ethics and Compliance:Personal accountability for driving the highest standards of ethics and compliance.Additional Details:Position Type:Field-based position reporting to the CEOGeography:NationwideLocation:RemoteTravel Requirements:50%-75% travel to sales territories, customer conventions, and occasional visits to HQ in North Carolina.Compensation and Benefits:We understand the importance of attracting and retaining top talent.
