Details Medical/Surgical unit in a hospital setting with 32 beds Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM) Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week Patient ratio of 1:6 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week period Floating required within scope of practice No on-call requirements Block scheduling considered on a case-by-case basis Charting via Epic (experience preferred) Requirements Active NM or Compact RN license required Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience required Current BLS certification required Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification preferred Epic EMR experience preferred 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler No travel pairs or groups accepted No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation Scrubs may be any color, but must be free of any hospital logo American Traveler Job ID P-690033.
