Foundry Operator

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and motivated Foundry Operator to join our non-ferrous sand-cast foundry. This position involves working with bronze and aluminum to produce high-quality window hardware. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and eager to learn and grow within the organization. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate foundry equipment in a non-ferrous sand-cast foundry Pour molten bronze and aluminum into molds Cut cast parts from trees and remove excess material (flash) through grinding and finishing processes Inspect castings to ensure quality standards are met Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company and OSHA guidelines Growth Opportunities: Opportunity to advance into operating automated mold-making machinery Potential to take on responsibilities related to pouring metal Qualifications: Foundry experience preferred, but not required (training provided) Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions Basic knowledge of industrial safety practices Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
