Aluminum Foundries (except Die-Casting)

Aluminum foundries (except die-casting) melt and cast aluminum into parts such as castings for equipment, vehicles, and industrial machinery. Jobs often include foundry operator, furnace/melt operator, molding/core making, quality inspection, machine and finishing work, and maintenance. Work is typically hands-on in a plant setting with heat and safety gear, and you may find shift work to keep production running. Entry-level roles are often available with safety training and on-the-job instruction.
