Informatica Developer

AVER is seeking an Informatica Developer to support the design, development, testing, and implementation of a technical solution to extract data from hundreds of source tables, separating the data by Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Component, and load data into a target data schema. This effort is part of a larger implementation of a new COTS-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for a complex Financial Systems Modernization (FSM) program. Join a collaborative team who values AVER’s mission, focus, and culture of delivering exceptional client service with great people and transformative technology solutions that ensure Government mission success.Responsibilities Include:Extract and load data using complex programming languages and using InformaticaCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and support requirements sessionsDevelop SQL in AWS Postgres database queriesWork with Lead Informatica Developer to develop strategies for extraction and loadWork closely with analysts to ensure requirements are flushed out and ready for developmentCreate data visualizations using Power BIExperience and a good understanding of Agile methodology and using JiraCoordinate with data owners to validate data (e.g., reconciling transaction details to summary records such as commitments and obligations to General Ledger (GL) balances)Prepare and assist with unit and end-to-end integration migration test plans (including testing for data extraction, transformation, data loading, and data validation)Support development of requirements, perform data analysis, and prepare data for data conversion activitiesEducation Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related fieldExperience Requirements:3+ years of experience in SQL, data extraction, separation, loading, migration, analysis, and conversion activities3+ years of experience using Informatica Power Center3+ years of experience using Informatica DeveloperExperience in SQL server programming languageExperience in data visualization using Power BIExperience with working in PostGres DB environmentExperience using Power BI and SQL to run queries and perform analysisExperience working with government systems (i.e., SharePoint, ServiceNow) and stakeholdersExcellent communication (verbal and written), organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsPrior experience supporting Federal government customers Desired Requrements:At least three years of experience using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)Experienced in supporting Federal SAP S/4 Hana business application development and data migration using a requirements-driven lifecycle processLocation:Washington, DCREMOTE, ad hoc on site maybe required per clientSecurity Requirements:Ability to obtain and maintain government clearance (Public Trust)This role supports a government agency which requires U.S. citizenshipCompensation Package:At AVER, we believe our people are the foundation of our success and are committed to providing meaningful work, competitive compensation, and a supportive environment where employees can grow while making a direct impact on critical Government missions.
