The Assistant Director of Foundation Relations reports to the Associate Vice President of Foundation Relations for the Charles River Campus (CRC) and plays a key role in increasing funding for the University via foundation relationships with the centers, colleges, departments, initiatives, and schools in the Humanities and Social Sciences located on the Charles River Campus.

The Global Communications and Media Relations department is responsible for positioning and promoting CFR and Foreign Affairs via the full spectrum of media, marketing, and public relations.

Develop the profile of the global Regulatory and IPMT practice group - this includes the practice areas of Antitrust and Competition; Communications, Internet, and Media; Energy Regulatory; Government Relations and Public Affairs; International Trade and Investment; Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology Regulatory; and Privacy and Cybersecurity.

Support the Federal Relations team with administrative lobbying activities, including bill research and tracking, and filing lobbyist reports. Serves as APA liaison with outside stakeholders including, but not limited to Congress and partner organizations, and in coordination with Deputy Director, Federal Relations and / or Government Relations Officer of APPA.

Our government relations manager for clean energy will develop relationships with clean energy champions in Congress on both sides of the aisle and work with our state and federal teams to advance renewable energy.

The CEA will report directly to the CEO, serve as a member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), and lead a department that combines advocacy, government relations, strategic communications and activist engagement to drive policy change that aims to get more girls in school and complete their education.
