Staff Accountant (Hybrid | Full-Time)Location: 250 S Park Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789Schedule: Hybrid - In office Tuesday-Thursday, remote Monday & FridaySalary: $60,000 - $70,000About the RoleA fast-growing software company in Winter Park, FL, is seeking a Staff Accountant with 2-5 years of experience to support our accounting operations. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who excels in full-cycle accounting, communicates effectively with internal teams and clients, and can manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency.The Staff Accountant will play an integral part in daily accounting functions, reconciliations, AP/AR processes, month-end close, and financial reporting. This hybrid role requires working onsite three days per week and remote work two days per week.Key Responsibilities-Perform full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments-Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including client communication regarding account status-Complete bank and general ledger reconciliations-Support month-end and year-end close processes-Maintain accurate financial data within the accounting system-Assist with deferred revenue tracking and revenue recognition-Prepare supporting schedules, reports, and documentation for audits and tax filings-Collaborate with Sales, Operations, and other internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting-Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting operationsRequirements-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field-2-5 years of accounting experience (required)-Experience with full-cycle accounting, reconciliations, AP/AR-Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients regarding their accounts-Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel-Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines-Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverablesPreferred Qualifications-Experience with Sage Intacct or other accounting software-Experience in software, SaaS, or tech industry accounting-Interest in pursuing CPA or relevant certificationsCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $60,000-$70,000 (target range; sweet spot approx. $60-$65k)80% company-paid medical benefits401(k) plan15 days PTO, including 5 sick daysHybrid work environmentProfessional development opportunitiesWork EnvironmentThis position follows a hybrid schedule with in-office days Tuesday through Thursday.
