Flexible hours are provided with the need of some evening hours, in-person and telehealth sessions. This position will work in collaboration with our Psychiatrist on staff. Our mental health clinic is located at 33 W 60th St 6th floor New York, NY.ResponsibilitiesConduct psychiatric evaluations for all Athena clients (children and adults)Conduct ongoing medication management when neededComplete all required documentation by a given deadline and in compliance with program and state regulationsEnsures all clinical notes and client information are updated and accurate within the current EHR systemProvide conflict resolution and crisis intervention when neededWork in collaboration with administrative staff to ensure client needs are successfully metAbility to commute between sites when neededQualificationsMaster's Degree in Nursing from an accredited schoolBilingual in English and Spanish preferedMust be certified with the Drug Enforcement Administration in order to prescribe medication to clientsMust be licensed in New York StateExperience working with Medicaid/Medicare Clients is a plusMust be passionate about working with underserved communities and possess a high level of engagement, entrepreneurial, and interpersonal skills$80 - $90 an hourCompensation is based on credentials and experience.Working ConditionsThis position requires travel to our mental health clinic in the Bronx. This is a professional work environment where a computer, desk, chair, and office supplies will be provided.Physical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the role above.
