Java Developer - Mid-Level

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Java Developer - Mid-Level to join their dynamic team. As a Java Developer - Mid-Level, you will be supporting the Software Development and Engineering department, collaborating with technical and business partners to design, develop, and maintain innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Java Developer - Mid-Level Location: Austin, TX or Dallas, TX (Onsite) Pay Range: $55/hr on W2 What's the Job? Design, develop, and maintain high-volume transaction supporting applications using Java and Spring framework. Research and develop technical specifications, architecture, and design solutions for production and test environments. Participate in strategic planning discussions with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals. Support tools and processes for gathering detailed user requirements and automate testing procedures. Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding. What's Needed? 3+ years of experience with Java, Spring framework, cloud development, and Web Services (REST, SOAP). Hands-on experience with GenAI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code. Experience with ETL jobs, data pipelines, messaging frameworks, and distributed databases like MongoDB or PostgreSQL. Familiarity with continuous build tools such as Bamboo, Bitbucket/Git, and cloud platforms like AWS or GCP. Strong ability to develop technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and automated test scripts. What's in it for me?
