DevOps Engineer

Role: DevOps Engineer Location: Plano, TX (100% Onsite) Mode: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS, Terraform, and GitLab CI/CD to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure and automated deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, security, and performance across environments. Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructureImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using TerraformDevelop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLabAutomate build, test, and deployment processesManage and optimize AWS services for performance, cost, and securityMonitor system health, performance, and availabilityImplement security best practices (IAM, VPC, encryption, secrets management)Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline releasesTroubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issuesSupport production environments and on-call rotations Required Skills & Qualifications:Strong experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch)Hands-on expertise with TerraformStrong experience with GitLab CI/CDProficiency in Linux/Unix administrationExperience with Docker and containerizationStrong scripting skills (Shell, Bash, Python)Knowledge of Networking concepts (VPC, subnets, routing, security groups)Experience with monitoring and logging tools Preferred / Good to Have:Experience with Kubernetes (EKS)Knowledge of AnsibleExperience with HelmFamiliarity with Prometheus, GrafanaAWS Certifications (Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer)Experience working in enterprise or healthcare environments Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesGood communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and take ownershipProactive and continuous-improvement mindset
