Staff/Sr. Accountant TEMP

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Staff / Sr. Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $40 to $45 per hour. Job Responsibilities Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries, and generate financial statements. Process invoices, payments, and collections. Collects appropriate data and prepares federal, state, and local reports and tax returns Liaise with external auditors and ensure audit readiness. Provide data and analysis to assist in financial planning. Provide guidance and support to develop the accounting team. Qualifications BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 4+ years of accounting experience in a public or private accounting environment. 1-2 years proven track record of managing accounting teams and overseeing daily operations. Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Advanced proficiency in accounting software (ADP) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Pivot Tables, V Lookup). Proficient in preparing, reviewing, and posting complex journal entries. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. REF #49609#LI-POST
