OB Hospitalist PhysicianPosition Summary:As part of the Ob Hospitalist clinical team, an Ob Hospitalist embraces delivering a quality OB Hospitalist program.Position Responsibilities:Deliver obstetrical and gynecological care to patients including but not limited to providing contraceptive services (at hospitals that provide contraceptive services)Deliver direct patient care to high-risk patients including situations where Maternal Fetal Medicine support may only be available by telephone or video consultationParticipate daily in Labor and Delivery board roundsServe as the Safety Officer on Labor and Delivery to ensure that all patients, regardless of their primary admitting clinician, have the safest possible outcomesSupport community physicians and midwives through clinical assistance as requested including practice coverage as requested and as safely availableShifts:24-hour shifts (majority)Some 12-hour or mixed-shift modelsFull-time clinicians typically work 59 (24-hr) shifts per 28-day blockBenefits:Health, Life, Vision, Dental401k w/ profit share contribution & Roth optionMalpractice Covered with unlimited tail coverage (lifetime)CME:$2,000 Annual Stipend towardACOG/ACOOG membership duesABOG/AOBOG certification maintenanceSubscriptions, License fees for state licensure on OBHG assignments & more!Clinicians are eligible for coverage with a shift commitment of 5 shifts per 28-day blockRequirements:Board Certified or Active Candidate Ob/Gyn PhysicianLicensed to practice medicine in the state of assigned siteHighly relational, able to build strong rapport and positive working relationships with all stakeholders (Hospital leadership, hospitalist teams, nurses, staff physicians, and OBHG corporate staff)Significant experience with obstetrical emergency care (preferred)
