Commercial Flooring Estimator & SalesPosition OverviewResponsible for driving revenue growth while accurately estimating and managing commercial flooring projects (tile focus). This role combines business development, client relationship management, and detailed project estimating from bid through close.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate and develop new business opportunities within the commercial flooring marketBuild and maintain relationships with general contractors, designers, and end usersReview project plans, specifications, and bid documentsPerform accurate material takeoffs and cost estimates (labor, material, time)Prepare and present competitive proposals and bidsClose sales and manage awarded projects through pre-construction phasesCoordinate with manufacturers and vendors for product selection and pricingIdentify project risks, constraints, and value-engineering opportunitiesConduct site visits to verify measurements and project conditionsTrack pipeline activity, project milestones, and sales performanceContribute to market strategy and support overall revenue growth initiativesQualificationsExperience in commercial flooring, construction estimating, or related fieldStrong understanding of plans, specifications, and takeoffsProven ability to generate and close sales opportunitiesStrong communication and relationship-building skillsDetail-oriented with solid problem-solving abilitySelf-motivated with a high level of accountabilityWork EnvironmentCombination of office, field/site visits, and client meetingsCollaborative, growth-focused team environmentReporting StructureReports to General ManagerCompensationBase salary plus performance-based commissionBusiness expenses reimbursed per company policy
