Sales Support Specialist

We are looking for a Sales Support Specialist to join our Portland, OR, location.Established in 1977, Immunology Consultants Laboratory, Inc. (ICL) is a local, family-owned lab that has grown from R&D to IVD. In this role, you will be responsible for performing duties in the purification and testing of polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies.A Day in the Seat:Maintain and update ICL’s CRM software, including marketing email lists.Regularly track and update strategic sales plans.Prepare sales reports as directed by the Sales Manager.Conduct competitor analysis to evaluate pricing strategies for products similar to ICL’s.Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and collaborating with departments on any technical concerns.Coordinate with vendors to produce marketing materials for products and manage digital marketing.What It Takes:Associate’s degree or higher in either biology, chemistry, business management, marketing, communications, or other related fields.Experience with CRMs like Zoho or Salesforce is preferred.An equivalent combination of education and training/experience will also be considered.Mathematical skills to comprehend and apply principles of arithmetic, algebra, and basic statistics.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.Ability to regularly stand and walk, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.What We Don’t Do:Be Boxed In – we encourage engagement in projects to improve production processes and professional growth.Run on Autopilot – you will support a diverse range of products and be ready to pivot to quote requests from prospective clients.Our Next Team Member:A Precise Professional who is highly organized and can balance strategic support with admin duties.A Detail-Oriented User with the vision to look for insights from all data points.An Effective Communicator who can write routine reports and speak effectively to clients.A Reliable Team Member who thrives in a quiet, professional environment.A Tech-Savvy Professional comfortable with basic computer skills, including email, database entry, and data backup.The Sweet Stuff:Generous Time Off – 10 days of PTO to start with, an increase after one year.
