Lead Full Stack Developer-Web Applications

Brief Project DescriptionThis is a position needed for the development and support of critical priority applications in the Division ofEmploymeny and Training. Candidates will play an integral role on self directed work teams in support ofhigh priority development projects. Project work will include: application architecture design anddevelopment, integration with 3rd party software, data conversion, new development and modifications toexisting code. Successful candidates will have demonstrated success in designing, creating, andmaintaining web services, system integration, web development, and Agile Scrum developmentmethodology.Hardware/Software EnvironmentVB.NET, C#, Object Oriented Design, MVC, MVVM, Visual Studio.NET, MS Team Foundation Server,Oracle PL-SQL, Google Cloud, GitHub, Blazor Framework, JiraAdditional CommentsPrevious work experience in government, insurance, accounting, or case management is required.Previous work experience in online transaction processing (OLTP) web application development andbatch processing required.Must-Haves (6 yrs): Experience leading teams, planning and estimating projects, guiding underlying application architecture, establishing governance of process and best practices Experience with implementation and ongoing support of multi-platform applications. Specifically Microsoft Webforms and MVC Web browser user interfaces, as well as services. Keeping a strong pulse on technological trends, making recommendations on emerging technologies, and identifying problems that can be solved with emerging tools.Nice-to-Haves: Experience guiding architecture and development using Blazor framework with MudBlazor components. (2 yrs) Experience working at a government agency that leverages a customized Agile development lifecycle, but may modify the lifecycle work within constraints often felt in government work. (2 yrs) Experience working in a technical environment with a wide array of technologies, from ASP.NET, batch processes, to modern frameworks and microservices. (6 yrs)Google Cloud Experience Preferred.Blazor Framework experience preferred.The successful candidate will be highly technically competent, a consistently high producer, a goodcommunicator, solutions-oriented, enthusaiastic to mentor junior developers, a technical thought leader,and overall team player.
