Primary Care/Urgent Care PhysicianOverviewThe Primary Care/Urgent Care Physician serves as a foundational member of the care team, delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals across all age groups andbackgrounds. As the first point of clinical contact, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of health conditions, promoting preventive care, and ensuring continuity across each patient's healthcare journey. Physicians committed to clinical excellence, innovation, and whole-person care in a collaborative, technology-supported environment.Roles & ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties● Conduct thorough consultations, obtain detailed medical histories, and performcomplete physical exams.● Diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of acute and chronic medical conditions across allages.● Develop and implement personalized care plans based on evidence-based practices.● Prescribe medications, therapies, and interventions in compliance with medicalstandards and regulatory requirements.● Order,review, and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs, imaging, and screenings.● Perform routine in-office procedures as appropriate for primary care settings.Preventive Care & Health Promotion● Administer preventive services such as immunizations, screenings, and wellness exams.● Counsel patients on lifestyle modifications, nutrition, and exercise to support long-termhealth.● Educate patients about disease prevention, early detection, and self-managementstrategies.● Monitor patients with chronic conditions and adjust treatment plans to optimizeoutcomes.Technology & Documentation● Document all patient encounters clearly, accurately, and promptly within the EMRsystem.● Utilize AI and digital tools to support clinical decision-making and streamline workflow.● Leverage telemedicine platforms when appropriate to improve patient access andcontinuity of care.Patient Advocacy & Relationship Building● Foster strong physician-patient relationships grounded in trust, empathy, andcommunication.● Serve as a health advocate for patients, ensuring timely access to appropriate servicesand resources.● Provide culturally competent care in alignment with Nao Medical’s values of inclusivityand compassion.Other Duties● Participate in clinical audits, peer reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.● Stay current with medical research, best practices, and regulatory updates.● Engage in mentorship and support of clinical team members, including NPs, PAs, andMAs.● Attend team huddles, case reviews, and interdisciplinary meetings to enhance carecoordination.Required Training, Certifications, or Credentials● Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accreditedinstitution.● Active and unrestricted license to practice in the State of New York.● Valid DEA registration.● BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Infection Control certifications (required).● Suboxone and CDL certifications (preferred).● FMCSA certification must be obtained within the 1st month of hire.● Medication Administration Training (MAT) Certificate.
