This role focuses on product development and validation, combining design ownership with hands-on laboratory testing and cross?functional collaboration. The engineer will play a key role in advancing the program toward production launch through structured validation, analysis coordination, and clear technical communication.Key ResponsibilitiesLead fuel pump validation activities for a new product design, including planning, execution, and reportingDevelop component and system designs in alignment with APQP and NPI program cadenceCreate and update 3D models and detailed prints using CreoSupport validation testing, including test preparation, assembly, teardown, inspection, and documentationCoordinate validation hardware tracking, test schedules, and supplier interactionsAnalyze test results and communicate findings to core engineering and leadership teamsAssist in tolerance stack?up analysis, design reviews, and failure investigationsCollaborate with suppliers, manufacturing, analysis, mechatronics, and purchasing teamsWork EnvironmentPrimarily office-basedIncreasing hands-on lab and test environment involvement as the program moves into validation phasesClose collaboration with a core development team, technical specialists, and suppliersRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering2–5 years of applicable engineering experienceHands-on experience with product development and validationProficiency in 3D modeling and print detailingStrong understanding of GD&TExperience working with FMEA, DVP&R, and APQP methodologiesAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentationPreferred QualificationsEngine or fuel system development experienceCaterpillar detailing and releasing experienceExposure to structural FEA or hydraulic analysisProduct validation or test engineering experienceKnowledge of manufacturing processesRequired Skills & AttributesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAnalytical and problem-solving mindsetClear verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast?paced development environmentCollaborative team player with a hands-on approach#INDOEM
