In this onsite role, you’ll contribute to the worldwide validation of metal face seals used on Caterpillar machines, supporting product performance, durability, reliability, quality, and serviceability.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain multiple seal validation test benchesAuthor and update safe job procedures and lockout/tagout documentationManage internal and external validation test requestsSupport quality, material, and design improvement projectsPerform root cause analysis on field returnsSupport NPI (New Product Introduction) and CPI (Current Product Improvement) projectsCollaborate with system engineering teams to identify and validate optimal sealing solutionsCreate and deliver technical reportsResearch and develop new sealing technologiesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Agricultural Engineering0–2 years of experience (internship experience accepted)Strong mechanical and analytical aptitudeStrong problem?solving skillsAbility to communicate technical information effectivelyProficiency in Creo or related CAD softwarePreferredMetallurgical engineering or advanced physics backgroundPrevious test/validation experienceExperience with data analysis softwareExperience with instrumentation/controller softwareExperience with metallic and non?metallic materials or componentsTop SkillsStrong mechanical and analytical aptitudeStrong problem?solving skillsAbility to communicate technical information effectively#INDOEM
